HAaaaaALOoooOOO y'all!! Yuyang here :)
People called me 小羊 (xiao yang) occasionally because my name yang 阳 has the same pronunciation as lamb 小羊 in Chinese :)
I’m a multi-faceted visual artist based in New York City, focusing on Stop-motion, 2D animation, and Motion Graphics.
After earning my BFA in Visual Communication and Design at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, I continued at the School of Visual Arts, pursuing a Master’s in Computer Arts.
Combining analog and digital techniques, I center my time-based work on materiality. My stories unfold through layered textures, hand-crafted details, and playful designs that spark the imagination.
Now I take my animations into the challenging, unknown field of interactive installation, using a wide array of forms and formats to expand my autobiographical world.
